Twelve days before the recent Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach, Florida, some riders were probably hoping to find time enough to change their oil or bolt on a new cargo rack before heading to the rally.
But 12 days was all the folks at
Coastal Victory in Murrells Inlet, S.C., and its custom accessories subsidiary,
HotVic.com, needed to transform a stock, 4-year-old Victory Vision into a sharp-looking custom that turned heads all over Daytona.
“The idea was that we had 12 days to take a stock ‘08 Victory Vision and turn it into the hottest Victory Vision in Daytona,” said Coastal Victory Co-Owner Tim Sutherland. “It drew a ton of attention and it performed awesomely! One thousand perfect miles.”
At last report, the bike was still available, Tim said. “It is not sold – yet – but is for sale.”
Tim and Rusty and the folks at Coastal/HotVic.com chronicled the “12 Days ‘til Daytona Build” on Coastal’s Facebook page. The dealership is well known as a great Victory demo ride host during Myrtle Beach rallies, as well as for its fantastic T-shirts, its globetrotting koozies and its
speed run prowess.
And Coastal/HotVic.com is rapidly becoming a leading source of smokin’ Victory customs.
