The best ride during Daytona Bike Week will be the Victory Ride on Friday, March 15. Plus, the ride ends at the Victory Reception, the annual Victory Bike Week party, making it a win-win day – exclusively for Victory riders.

• Visit the Victory at Daytona page to register for the Victory Ride & Victory Reception. •

Both events are open only to Victory riders, and if you’re heading to Daytona, you won’t want to miss them.

The Victory Ride will start promptly at 11 a.m. at Volusia Motorsports (1701 S.R. 44, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168, phone: 386-428-2212). There will be several hundred Victory riders, so arrive early with a full tank of fuel.

The ride will be led by a sheriff’s department escort and the point man will be actor, retired U.S. Marine and avid Victory rider R. Lee Ermey – “Gunny.” He will lead the Victory Ride, then will attend the Victory Reception from 1-3 p.m.

The sheriff's department escort made last year's Victory Ride an outstanding success and a tremendous experience for all the riders. The deputies manage the group's speed, and their presence keeps other riders from cutting into the Victory group. Riders can rest assured the deputies will make it a great ride.

The 68-mile route will wind through the area and finish at 1 p.m. at the Victory Reception at the Blue Grotto Halifax Marina.

The Blue Grotto is where last year’s Victory Bike Week Party was held: 125 Basin St., Daytona Beach, FL 32114, phone: 386-255-6477. It’s located just off Beach Street, 1.5 blocks south of Orange Avenue, in the Halifax Harbor Marina.

The reception will run from 1-3 p.m.

Get registered, get gas and get ready for a great day. We’ll see you in Daytona!
