q & a

How did you get involved in riding and what do you love most about it?

TC: Ever since I was a kid I had an interest in motorcycles. The speed, the sound, the looks never failed to catch my eye when one zipped by. I always wanted a sport bike or a cruiser but I never thought I would ever get my own. One of my friends let me ride his sport bike and I was instantly hooked. From that moment on I knew that I had to get my own. I just had no idea where it would change my life. The thing I love most about riding is that it takes you away to a special place where you’re happy and not much else matters for that period of time. I also love the fact that you can be challenged in so many ways, there are endless possibilities. Putting man up against machine to push limits is also something I enjoy.

JD: For some reason I was drawn to 2 wheels at a very early age, my older brother always had 3 wheelers, but for some reason, I had to be on 2. As soon as I rode a dirt bike for the first time, I was hooked, there is no better feeling in the world.

What does Victory performance mean to you?

TC: Victory performance to me means an American-made, good time on  two wheels or even just one. The power is great, the appearance is great and they perform great too.  I will honestly say that coming from a background of sport bikes I really had no idea what a good time these Victory Motorcycles® could be. "Ride one and you'll own one" they say. Well I’m sold. I'm lucky enough to work along-side the Victory Motorcycles team right now but from this point forward I will always be a fan of Victory Motorcycles.

JD: It means riding anyway that you want, without being limited by your machines capabilities.

What are you most looking forward to in working with Victory® in 2015?

TC: Victory has a great team of people and that helps us to do what we do to the best of our abilities. With that being said, I am really looking forward to working together on some fun projects and events to show the world what these awesome motorcycles are capable of.

JD: There is so much to look forward to in 2015, every time I ride one of my Victory Motorcycles, I find new boundaries to push, and that possibilities are endless!

What features of a Victory makes that stunt at all possible?

TC: The Freedom® 106 engines really dish out a good amount of torque that puts out plenty of power for drifting. I'm really impressed with the baggers while drifting. Even with bags these bikes have an amazing amount of lean capabilities. The geometry gives me plenty of front wheel traction to keep myself in control.

JD: That Freedom 106 makes it all possible!

What’s your favorite stunt to perform on a Victory Motorcycle?

TC: I definitely love to drift on the Victorys. It's a blast for me to ride sideways on both the cruisers and baggers.

JD: The Victory Motorcycles® have an unreal amount of torque, which makes for amazing burnout capabilities, I love being sideways with the tire blazing on these bikes.
