VICTORY & IAVA TEAM UP FOR VETERANS DAY 2016
This November, for the third straight year, Victory and Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America – IAVA – will team up to salute veterans and raise funds and awareness for IAVA around Veterans Day.
A 2017 Victory Gunner will be auctioned off at the annual IAVA Heroes Gala fundraiser on Nov. 10 in New York City – with all proceeds going to IAVA.
Plus, a spectacular Victory bagger custom dubbed “Operation: Freedom” (see photo gallery below) will be featured in a video shown at the gala. The bike will be sold at the legendary Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction in January 2017, with IAVA receiving all proceeds.
California Victory dealers Gino Pilolla and Mark Baldridge created the incredible custom bike. Throughout the project, they were inspired by the memory of a friend, a U.S. Marine pilot who died in late 2015 in a fighter jet crash at the end of a Middle Eastern deployment.
On Nov. 11, Veterans Day, a fleet of Victory Motorcycles will once again lead the large contingent of IAVA members in “America’s Parade” down Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.
To honor our military, police, and fire service men and women Victory also offers $1000 off a Victory purchase.
IAVA was founded in 2004 and is the largest support network in the U.S. for the younger generation of veterans and their families. IAVA works with these individuals from the time they return home from deployment through the rest of their lives. Learn more at iava.org.
